Chickadee: Mommy, when I grow up, I am going to have a baby.
Me: Ok, can I come visit and hold her?
Chickadee: You can live with us.
Speed: Nah, she will probably be dead by then.

Conversations with 3 1/2 Year Old Chickadee

safe and unsafe moms

the idea that not all moms have their kids taken away (even if temporarily)

equality among races and sexual orientation

I really thought the hardest topic I'd get to address as a parent would be the birds and the bees.
